In which cases can the E-max crown/bridge prosthesis be used?

What is the difference between zircon crown and E-max crown?
E-max crown and zirconium crown are both applications in esthetic dentistry. Since the translucency of E-max crowns is higher than zirconium crowns, a more natural and aesthetic appearance is achieved in cases where E-max crowns are used. Zirconium crowns are more durable than E-max crowns. In cases where more than one tooth is missing, zirconium bridge dentures are used because E-max bridge dentures cannot be used due to their fragility.

Why do zirconium/e-max dentures have a better aesthetic appearance than metal-supported porcelain dentures?
The infrastructure of the routinely used porcelain crown/bridge prosthesis is a gray metal alloy. These metal-supported porcelain crown/bridge dentures create a gray reflection in the gum area, especially when placed on anterior teeth. The gums appear grayed out. The reason for this appearance is the accumulation of metal alloys in the framework of porcelain veneers due to dissolution in the gingival area over time. In addition, because the infrastructure is metal, the translucency of the porcelain decreases and these restorations (veneers) appear a dull matte color. Due to these esthetic problems, the use of zirconium/e-max crown/bridge dentures has increased in recent years. For full porcelain dentures, veneers can be made entirely of porcelain material without a substructure or with a white base. As the translucency of full porcelain restorations is very close to that of natural enamel, they also create a more natural and esthetic appearance.
